The coaches who attended were Jeff Conover, who works with Kessy and Ross, Dave Denitz, who works with Matt Fuerbringer (Costa Mesa, Calif.) and Nick Lucena,(Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) and Jeff Alzina, who coaches Jake Gibb (Bountiful, Utah) and Sean Rosenthal (Redondo Beach, Calif.).

The athletes and coaches attended presentations by various USOC staff members on planning, diet, sport psychology and periodization, heading into the season prior to the 2012 Olympic year
